Josh Waitzkin is a fascinating and extremely accomplished individual who has achieved world champion status in the worlds of both chess and martial arts.  He’s done deep analysis, self study, and has some extremely insightful and useful perspective on the topics of learning and resilience.

The Art of Learning Project is a nonprofit that grew out of numerous requests Waitzkin received from educational institutions following the publishing of his book The Art of Learning:  An Inner Journey to Optimal Performance.  Waitzkin and his nonprofit share resources, learning modules, and provide support to educators who use his insights to increase the effectiveness of their instruction, and enrich the education of children.
